Hey everyone, he has done it again. Congratulations to Doug Levy. He has captured the 2017 H. Marshall Claybourn Trophy. This is his ninth success in a string of wins that began in 2001.
The July 1st flight originated just over the mountains to the west of Inyokern Airport in California and ended 8:19 hours and 320.22 miles later at Ely, NV Airport.
The runner-up pilots this year were James Neff with 306.24 and 265.16 milers, also out of Inyokern and Garry Dickson whose 250.87 mile flight started in Lone Pine, CA.
Nice going Doug and congratulations to all who gave it a try.
