The July 3rd flight originated just over the mountains to the west of Inyokern Airport in California and ended 8:09 hours and 295.10 miles
later just northeast of the Eureka, NV Airport.
The runner-up flights this year were Doug's 260 miler out of Warner Springs, a 252 by Jeff Neff (a Gold Division pilot in the Sweepstakes)
from Inyokern and Garry Dickson's 234 that started in Lone Pine.
