Tues, 28 June 0900-1800

1st practice day. Registration and informal grid/flying. A task will be posted for testing your and the Scorer's setups. Registration is at the Airport Office/Pilots Lounge at the NW corner of the field near the beacon tower.

Tie downs are first come-first serve, and are at the West end of the airport, South of the Airport Office. 3-cable system for wings and tail. Please stagger with tails on center cable, and cooperate to settle on specific locations to maximize available space. Limited chain connectors are in place, so bring rope/preferred connectors for your ship. NEVER leave a 1-26 unsecured - our thermals are VERY strong!

Starting the 28th for the duration, there will be free cold drinks, beer and light snacks available at the clubhouse for pilots, crew, staff, and guests. ASC clubhouse is the place to gather for informal fun and story telling all through the contest.

The World record-setting pylon racer NEMESIS, soon to be delivered to the Smithsonian, will be on display during the contest. Steve Hill, NEMESIS Crew Chief and 1-26 Championship Weatherman, will give us a personal tour,
