I'm very pleased to announce that Doug Levy has captured the 2015 H. Marshall Claybourn Memorial award. Last June 13th Doug departed
Inyokern Airport and took a long arching flight of over 380 miles to the northeast. Just short of nine hours later he landed at the
Ely, Nevada airport, setting the 2015 straight-line distance record at 305.38 miles. This is Doug's seventh Claybourn win and he's got
to be thinking about someday matching Charles Shaw's monumental eleven victories.
The runners up this year were Ron Schwartz at 271 miles and Garry Dickson with 220 miles.
